This is our first mac. It was very easy to set up right out of the box. It is not difficult to use, just a little different than a windows based system. Runs smoothly and without constant delays and glitches. So far very pleased!

A side note about the computer; Mac is putting basically a laptop keyboard with the computer now, so it doesn't have the additional number keypad to the right. Some users may prefer to buy a different keyboard

I have purchased 7 Macintosh computers since they came out in 1984. All have performed very well as expected. Very pleased. Easy to setup. My new iMac transferred all info from my previous iMac in one step. Tghe migration assistance setup my new computer just like my old one (all emails, addresses, bookmarks, display settings, etc.) in one step. Impressive.

The iMac is is the best PC I've owned. Runs Windows-7 concurrently with Parallels better than PCs do. Beautifully designed and functionall and runs trouble free. Liked mine so much I bought one for my daughter.

the mac is simply easy to use and very powerful in terms of doing things that used to be difficult computing tasks but now makes them quick and simple. from creating a spreadsheet to making a little home movie the mac makes the steps fairly clear and easy to do...much more so than the windows machines. glad i bought it.

iMacs are great computers for the family and multiple users. The included Guest account makes it easy for visitors to use without compromising the security of the computer. Easy to set up, easy to use, and I rarely need to add any other software as Apple includes good software for most of the things you would want to do. I have almost never had issues in running Macs. The extra price is worth it for the few to zero problems that I've had with Macs over the years. The only downside is that some upgrades for hardware are impossible to do. Graphics cards, for instance. Doesn't do high end gaming that well, but for anything else, it is a great computer.

i love the bigger screen and how fast my programs open and close. The set-up was very easy.
The only problem I have is with the keyboard. I am a graphic designer/illustrator and the keyboard does not work for me. I need a full keyboard. I also find the mouse uncomfortable to use after a while. Other than that I love my new iMac.

My first iMac (four years ago) had one-quarter the RAM, one-half the HD capacity, and a much slower CPU. Yet, the cost was about the same as this new iMac. MacConnection shipped it immediately - it was double-packed (that is, a second cardboard box over the Apple box), and it arrived in perfect condition. Very pleased with both the Apple iMac and the MacConnection service!
