Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000

Enjoy wireless freedom with the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 - no transceiver to connect or lose! Keep USB ports free for other devices. With Microsoft High Definition Laser Technology, this mouse is more responsive, more precise, and offers smoother tracking (compared to standard laser products). A battery indicator light lets you know when your battery is running low, and an on/off switch helps you conserve power. An ergonomist-approved ambidextrous design provides comfort in tight on-the-road situations. Use the back button to easily navigate between folders and Web pages, or press the wheel for Auto-scroll.

This is an excellent product, working very well and filling my desire to not use a USB port and wireless plug with my new laptop. Problem is, that even remembering to turn it off (via the tiny switch on the bottm) when not in use, the 2 AAA batteries only last about 20 hours of use (rough estimate). I will have to get rechargables and carry a charger if I plan to continue to use this product. My Microsoft USB mouse using AA batteries lasts for weeks.

This mouse works great, but was not simple to install. Occasionally looses its connection and has to be reinstalled.
